While still in the prep school Sarah was bitten by the acting bug from a young age. Sarah fell in love with acting when she was spotted by her drama instructor walking through his garden so she could get to her field hockey class in time. Sarah chose to combine her passion for acting and the academics she pursued by double-majoring in English at Hamilton College as well as studying abroad at London, Oxford and London during her senior year. When she graduated from Hamilton College magnacum laude, she went on through Yale Drama School. Both parents who were talented artists as well as English teachers helped her pursue her love of the arts. It is clear that her training and talents paid off.
